About  the  DesignerA  South  Florida  native,  Amanda  Perna  graduated  from  the  University  of  Alabama  with  a  degree  in  Apparel  Design.  From  there  she  moved  to  New  York  where  she  honed  her  design  skills  at  Oscar  de  la  Renta  and  Calvin  Klein  and  competed  on  Project  Runway  before  launching  her  own  venture,  The  House  of  Perna,  embodying  the  sum  of  her  experience:  New  York  architectural  lines  with  Miami  color  and   low.
