About: World Trade Centre Mumbai (WTC) is a premier trade promotion organization in India. A member of World Trade Centre’s Association (WTCA) New York, WTC Mumbai provides wide range of services to promote international trade.

All India Association of Industries (AIAI) has always been proactive in establishing a platform to promote trade and investment. Its endeavour to create a global platform is evident in organizing and hosting trade delegations from all over the world. Annually AIAI hosts more than 60 trade delegations and organize various networking B2B meetings apart from organizing seminars, Conferences and the Global Economic Summit.

World Trade Expo – Mumbai

All India Association of Industries (AIAI) in association with World Trade Centre (WTC) Mumbai organized the World Trade Expo (WTE) 2017 on November 16 -17 , 2017 at the Expo Centre, World Trade Centre Mumbai. The WTE 2017 was the first of its kind and a unique event that provided a platform to Consulates/ Embassies/State Governments to showcase various opportunities in trade and investment in their respective countries/regions/states. The expo provided members of trade and industry a platform for interaction to gain more information

as well as assistance for engaging and enhancing their trade with the participating countries/regions. Over 37 Countries and 5 prominent States including

Government of Rajasthan has participated at the WTE 2017. Mr. Arun Panda, Secretary MSME, Government of India was the Chief Guest, who inaugurated the Expo.

Another highlight of the WTE 2017 was the networking B2B meetings with participating countries and state government officials along with country presentations. Interested companies for B2B. The Expo offered an excellent opportunity for Indian business community including MSME entrepreneurs, large corporate houses, tour operators, service providers, start-ups, students and others to take advantage and extend their geographical reach by exploring opportunities in participating countries/regions.

With the efforts of the Team Rajasthan a stall of 18 Sq. Mtrs. Was allotted to the Rajasthan state at a very prime location. Schemes of Investment and available investment opportunities in Rajasthan were discussed and disseminated by Team Rajasthan to delegates and visitors.

Team Rajasthan participated in the Expo at World Trade Centre- Mumbai from 15th to 17th Nov. 2017, and exhibited catalogues, Publications and other information including various policies, initiatives to attract investment in the state. A film of the promotion of investment in Rajasthan was also shown in the Expo ground. Expo also provided the members of trade and industry a platform for interaction with the team and Department officials to get more information and assistance for engaging and enhancing their trade.

There were queries about investment in the state about the various dimensions of investment in the area of agriculture, agro-food processing, Camel Milk processing, cattle feed, tourism and regarding trade. The team also discussed with the Embassies of different participating countries for opportunities of exports from the state.
