How does chemotherapy effect a patient?

Why did I choose this topic?

My elder brother was diagnosed last year with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma

I have seen him go through the treatments needed to fight this cancer

I wanted to know;

-The specific drugs used during treatment and how they work

-As well as the large number of drugs used to handle the side-effects of these cytotoxic drugs

What have I found out so far?

The stages of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and how doctors decide on each individual’s treatment

The drugs combined to make the cytotoxic chemotherapeutic agent used

The various drugs used by patients at home during and after chemotherapy and what they do

The long term effects chemotherapy can have on patients
