At the end of this course, participants will be able to:

(1)Advance the trainer’s skills in teaching OSHE;

(2)Enhance the responsibilities and contributions of HSE/SHOs at workplaces;

(3) Evaluate further the knowledge development of workers to comply to OSHA 1994 regulations

(4) Increase the confidence of SHOs in conducting training sessions at workplaces.

A resource person needs to be clear on their role in supporting the desired learning outcomes—this will require discussion and negotiation to ensure a good curricular fit. Equally important is that he or she needs to be a competent educator and facilitator, recognizing that effective HSE or Workplace Safety is activity based, rather than didactic.
