Stephen Tanzer has performed and recorded with the NewYork Philharmonic, and for twenty three years was the solopiccoloist of the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia and thePhilly Pops with Peter Nero. He has also performed with theMinnesota Orchestra, the Baltimore Symphony, the MiamiPhilharmonic, and the Kirov Ballet. He is president of TanzerHeadjoint Co. and the author of “A Basic Guide to Fingeringsfor the Piccolo.”
