One of several ministry services offered by Stonebridge United Methodist Church is Stephen Ministry. For individuals in times of need who are looking for Christian one-on-one care, Stephen Ministers are available. Stephen Ministry Stephen Ministers are trained to engage in
relationships with a focus on caregiving for each individual’s unique needs and to keep conversations confidential. They attend continuing education courses and receive supervision from Stephen Leaders. Those who wish to become Stephen Ministers must fill out an application and attend an interview. Stephen Ministers must commit to serving for 18 months after completing their training.
