Step by step print screens of myCONTENTS PAGE

I opened up the correct size document and set the main text box out.

I changed my background colour to black as I feel that this is a better choice because my font stands out more and it gives the page a more sophisticated look.

Next I added the title ‘CONTENTS’ in bold white font that is the same as the font used for the masthead.

Next I added the boxes so I knew how the layout would be.

My next step was to copy the masthead over from Photoshop and then place it in the correct position by the title.

I added the main features that I wanted to use on my contents page which I had already pre planned. I used different colours to separate the numbers and the actual brief.

I have also added my pre planned the review section and added this onto the page. I again separated page numbers and text with different colour fonts.

My next step was to add the main image of the main feature artist.

After that, I added my second image of another artist that features in my magazine.

I added my sub title for ‘features’ and put a pink box around it to make it stand out and also to bring out the feminine aspect of house style.

I did the same thing with the ‘reviews’ sub title next.

Next, I added a little brief into the main article and placed this over the main image to make it obvious this is the main article.

I then did the same on my next image.
