Stellar™ 100 adult and pediatric ventilatorProtect every breath
The Stellar™ 100 ventilator is designed for use across different hospital settings
where non-dependent patients are on the move. Lightweight, small, quiet
and versatile, the Stellar 100 ventilator provides high-quality performance for
a wide range of adult and pediatric (> 13 kg) patients using invasive* and
noninvasive applications.
With easy access and quality performance features, the Stellar 100 ventilator
offers advanced settings that are optimized, allowing medical staff to focus
on and fine-tune the pressure settings required for each individual patient.
• User interface is simple with intuitive menus, easy navigation, user-friendly
push dial, integrated humidification, internal battery and USB convenience
for data capturing
• The Stellar 100 ventilator protects every breath through advanced leak
compensation with Vsync and enhanced patient-ventilator synchrony with
TiControl™ technology
• Patient setup and monitoring is quick and easy with the built-in pathology
defaults and the informative monitoring screens
For use with uncuffed or deflated cuff tracheostomy tubes only.*
From initial setup to therapy management and monitoring, the Stellar 100 ventilator makes high-quality ventilation easy, accessible and practical. More in one
Versatile and customizable: Two customizable programs for extra
flexibility—these can be preset by the clinician for a quick change in
patient therapy when required.
Mobility and portability: Internal battery (2-hour capacity*) and
an optional external battery (the ResMed Power Station II, 8-hour
capacity**), which is ideal for when the patient needs to be moved.
The mobility bag protects the ventilator and accessories, allowing
access to the Stellar 100 ventilator user interface even when on
the move.
Comprehensive range of alarms: Includes user adjustable alarms and
essential non-adjustable, fixed alarms for patient safety.
High oxygen delivery: The device can use up to 30 L/min of oxygen.
Advanced technologyLow-inertia blower: The unique blower, including the low-inertia
motor and impeller, delivers higher performance than a conventional
motor in a more compact size with quieter operation.
Removable, replaceable air path: Makes it easier and quicker to
service the device, minimizing device downtime.
Vsync and TiControl technologies: Proven technologies work
together, providing control and flexibility to improve ventilation,
comfort and sleep. These unique features offer better disease
management, increased patient comfort and therapy acceptance as
the patient’s breathing is more “in sync” with the device.
Approximately 2 hours at EPAP 5 cmH2O, IPAP 15 cmH2O, 20 bpm*
Approximately 8 hours per battery in Pressure Assisted Control (PAC) mode at EPAP 5 cmH2O, IPAP 15 cmH2O and 20 bpm**
Clinical settings made easier with pathology defaults and multiple programs that can be preset
Synchronization screen displaying spontaneous versus machine triggered/cycled breaths
Live comprehensive monitoring information at your fingertips
Events Summary screen provides a quick overview of the main events, such as setting changes and alarms
Data and monitoringReal-time monitoring on LCD: The device screen provides essential
information in a friendly format via the Monitoring menu. This includes
simultaneously viewed flow and pressure curves, the Ti-bar graph to
fine-tune ventilation and SpO2 and FiO2 monitoring.
Summary data and reminders on LCD: The Info menu provides a
snapshot of therapy information for seven sessions at a time, with easy
scrolling for up to 365 sessions.
Downloadable data: Usage and summary data for up to 365
treatment sessions and seven days of high-resolution, breath-by-
breath data (including SpO2) are stored in the device. Data can be
downloaded via USB or cable, using the ResScan™ data management
PC application.
Optimal setupLearn Circuit test: At the push of a button, the device uses this
integrated test to measure and compensate for changes in circuit
independence (caused by the use of antibacterial filters, humidifiers
and other accessories).
Pathology defaults: A choice of disease-specific preset values
(for obstructive, restrictive, normal lung mechanics and obesity
hypoventilation). This unique feature helps optimize advanced
settings so medical staff can focus on fine-tuning the primary
settings for each patient.
