Approximately 200 small cities and rural counties throughout the State of

Eligible CHIP Primary Activities

• Private Owner Rehabilitation• Rental Rehabilitation• Homeownership• Acquisition/Rehabilitation/Resale• Home Repair• New Housing Construction• Habitat for Humanity• Emergency Monthly Housing Payments• Tenant-Based Rental Assistance

Distribution: Competitive Basis

• Criteria– Community Needs (20 points)

– Community Capacity (30 points)

– Community Performance (25 points)

– Community Impact (25 points)

• $500,000 maximum per grantee, bi-annually
