St. Paul’s Lutheran
The Epis†le Easter Greetings in Christ,
Every time we come together to worship, it is a celebration of the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ!
What looks like the end of hope on Good Friday when Jesus was crucified, turns into a miracle 3 days later
when Jesus is resurrected to life! The love of Christ and his grace in our lives cannot be underestimated. It has
no limit and is forever a blessing to us. Eternal life is a gift to people of faith! Live by faith in Christ and you will
be forgiving people you couldn’t face before; you will serve as if you are serving Christ himself; you will find
that praying is not wasted time but essential and life-giving.
On Easter Sunday, together we will celebrate the miracle of the
Risen Christ and our new life and forgiveness in Him.
We will hear the good news from the Bible and
share in the Lord’s Supper. It will be beautiful in the
sanctuary. There will be white lilies surrounding
the altar, the giant butterfly overhead,
fresh cut flowers placed in the wire cross by
worshippers, the tallest candle in the church known as
the paschal or resurrection candle will be lit,
and the picture will be hung on the wall showing Jesus
with rays of light coming from him.
Jesus gathers us together as our friend and Savior,
blessing us and leading us as his Church. Let us always be hopeful.
Jesus says to us in Matthew 18:20 - “For where two or three are
gathered in my name, I am there among them.”
Onward by faith,
Pastor Nancy
