Intentional DISCIPLESHIP in a DGC

The Purpose of the DG in a DGC

The DG is the Body-Life

of a DGC in microcosm.

This is expressed at

an individual level in a community

with whom he / she can relate to

personally i.e. this is for every believer.

Army of God

@ DG Level

@ Church Level

5th W - Warmth

A core-value from the Word to under gird our zeal

for God.

To arise to fulfill the purpose-vision from the Lord

for DGC.

To soil our hands and wet our feet with enthusiasm.

Keeping our spiritual fervor.

The 5 W’s of the DG

Every DG must discuss, plan, agree and set goals

for each of the 5 W’s for:

i. Effectiveness

ii. Growth

i.e. the group will multiply after a certain size -

new DGL, ADGL and SPs.

Enlarge the Leadership BaseMaximum Participation of all

The 5 W’s of the DG

Each DG must understand the phase it is in.

Each DG must know the state of its maturity

as a group.

Each DG must understand the season it is in.

Hebrews 6:12 … through faith and perseverance

inherit the promises.

A word regarding testimonies:

A. It should be done to the glory of God to give

praise to our Good LORD.

B. No condemnation, no comparison for those

struggling on this issue.

C. This is for encouragement.

Psalm 133:1-3 Behold, how good and how

pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

It is like the precious oil upon the head, running

down on the beard, the beard of Aaron, running

down on the edge of his garments. It is like the

dew of Hermon, descending upon the mountains

of Zion; for there the LORD commanded the

blessing— life forevermore.

CONCLUSION

Hebrews 10:25 not forsaking the assembling of

ourselves together, as is the manner of some,

but exhorting one another, and so much the more

as you see the Day approaching.
