How It Works
The Arotrend™ Remote Monitoring System utilizes a modem and phone line to connect to the Yazaki Monitoring Center. Under normal operating conditions, data is collected at regular intervals by the Arotrend™monitoring unit and sent to Yazaki. While a monitoring unit temporarily stores hours of data, all data sent to the Yazaki Monitoring Center is permanently stored and available for review. When an alarm or abnormal condition occurs, data is immediately sent to the Yazaki Monitoring Center, and a report is automatically faxed to an owner’s designated contact person for appropriate action. A service technician with a laptop computer can use the Arotrend™ software to view real-time operating conditions whether connected directly to the monitoring unit at the jobsite, or remotely through a phone line. With this data available, the abnormal condition can be diagnosed quicker than ever before, without even being at the jobsite. The Arotrend™ Remote Monitoring System is available from Yazaki through a Monitoring Service Agreement.
Features and Benefits of the Arotrend™ Monitoring System:24-Hour Monitoring: Gives you the security of knowing that expert Yazaki personnel are continuously on watch for any sign of potential trouble.
Temperature Analysis: Critical temperature and operational data used in troubleshooting a Yazaki Chiller-Heater is recorded and then shown graphically. By speeding up the troubleshooting process, money can be saved by reducing the length of a service call. In some cases, a service call can be avoided altogether.
Cycle Diagram: Gives a graphical look at the temperature data and valve positions to further aid in the troubleshooting process. Once again, the immediate availability of detailed temperature and operational information can shorten the length of a service call and save money.
Yazaki Factory Support: With experienced Yazaki personnel overseeing the monitoring system, conditions that may need attention can be addressed before a change in comfort level is noticed, avoiding any loss in comfort, and saving money in expensive repairs later on.
Event Notice: When an alarm or abnormal condition is received at the Yazaki Monitoring Center, an Event Notice is automatically faxed to an owner’s designated contact person. This report identifies the abnormal Chiller-Heater condition, so that valuable time is saved in determining a course of action.
