Many homeowners are installing solar power systems

to reduce their reliance on Eskom, to lower their electricity

bills, and make their homes more environmentally friendly.

• Domestic systems tend to be

Grid Tied or Hybrid with Battery

/ UPS for Load Shedding.

• Use Solar as your source of

power.

• Unique solutions for SINGLE

PHASE and THREE PHASE

houses.

• Add battery options for

maximum benefit.

Why use

solar power at your home?

What to know about domestic Systems

How Solar Works

Solar panels collect energy from the sun and

convert it into DC electricity which is then sent to an

inverter. The inverter is one of the most important

components of a solar power system into 240V AC.

The AC electricity is then fed into your home to

power your lighting and household appliances and

has two very important functions. It takes the DC

electricity from the solar panels and charges the

batteries as well as convert the DC from the

batteries and solar panels There is no need to

change any of your lighting or appliances, however

the more efficient the appliances the less strain on

batteries.

Battery

The installation of Batteries is designed to be

used at night time or during load shedding

and is mainly suitable for low energy

applications such as LED lighting etc.

Systems are configured where the heavy

user applications (e.g. Pool Pumps) are run

during the day using solar power.
