Finding out about a person’s past employment, past and current addresses, education and more is just a click away on the powerful social internet. So what information do you want people reading about you? Take control of your brand of you. • Besides having and maintaining the most

common accounts that people have…Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Linkedin,etc. you should also:– Purchase the URL of your name– Create your Google profile– Create an about.me page– Maintain your network by using My web career

Social Media: CareerCreating and maintaining your brand should be viewed as a valuable resource. Not only building relationships through networking but also by highlighting your expertise and skills.Including your interests and hobbies in your brand is an important yet often overlooked attribute. Sharing this information could spark interest in you for skills that were not originally utilized.
