Fresh, targeted ways to display your news and info

A secure Content Manager portal for creating, sending, and managing messages/content

Snap Client, the desktop applet which pulls down new content, broadcasts messages to the employee, and gives them access to their message history and personal options.

The Back end infrastructure – core application housed and managed either in Snap’s data center (hosted version) or within your own data network (in-house version).

The Snap Client

• Installed on the desktop, either through IT or manually (by running

an executable file)

• Once Client installs, user becomes visible in the Content Manager system (and can be targeted with messages/content)

• Pings every 60 secs for new messages and pulls them to the PC if there. (1 ping = 790 bytes)

• Cannot be “turned off” by user (can only be uninstalled) Your employee clicks

on the icon to access messages and interactive content

Is it Secure?

• All communications between the Snap Client and the Snap Platform are initiated by the Snap Client and include some application control data (see handout).

• All data is sent over a secure connection using HTTP over SSL.

• For the hosted model, we follow best practice security measures. (Full information on platform security provided on request.)
