HI-SCAN 6046si is a consequentfurther development of HI-SCAN6040i, the with more than 6000installations world-wide most suc-cessful X-ray inspection system inits class.

Despite all similarities, HI-SCAN6046si is by far more than a con-ventional X-ray system with a face-lift. Crucial technological innovati-ons concerning X-ray sensor andimage processing technologieswere part of the R&D process.HI-SCAN 6046si is equipped withan advanced multi-energy X-raygenerator, a new generation ofelectronics plus a completely novelhigh resolution detector line. Due

to this optimized technology, thesystem demonstrates perfor-mance rates unachieved before.HI-SCAN 6046si produces extreme-ly detailed X-ray images, whichimpress by a more than doublednumber of real, physical pixels.The drastically enhanced imageresolution of the scanned objectsrepresents a decisive advantagefor image evaluations in securityareas.
