Wade  Shows’  SkyRide  –  Fact  Sheet  

In   2017,   Wade   Shows,   the   New   York   State   Fair’s  Midway  operator  and  partner,  will   be   introducing  an  exciting   new   enhancement   to   the   Great   New   York  State  Fair  skyline,  an  aerial  Sky  Ride.    The  Sky  Ride   is  one   of   the   most   iconic   images   for   many   major   fairs  and   events   around   the   nation.     Wade   Shows   is  experienced   in   the   construction,   operation   and  maintenance   of   aerial   lifts   at   four   of   the   country’s  largest   events—the   Oklahoma,   South   Florida,  Nebraska,  and  Florida  State  Fairs.      

In  2016,  Wade  Shows  worked  with  the  Fair  to  add  14  new   rides,   additional   rest   areas   and   seating  opportunities,  and  an  expanded  Kiddieland.    Over  the  past   three   years,   Midway   revenues   have   grown   by  $900,000.      

Architect/Design  Firm  

Wade  Shows  Inc.  will  privately  finance,  construct  and  operate  the  Sky  Ride.      

Sky  Ride  Details  v The  Sky  Ride  will  span  approximately  1,500  feet;  v Will  travel  the  length  of  the  expanded  Midway;    v Includes  100  to  120  double-­‐passenger  cars;    v Will  provide  the  best  view  in  town!
