Why I chose ski?
• I’ve chosen ski because it is my way to be in contact with the nature.
• It's exiting to slide down fast and know that you can go wherever you like if there’s
snow under your skis.
TYPES OF SKIING
ALPINE SKIING• Is the most used and popular, also
known as downhill skiing. • Today, most alpine skiing occurs at
a ski resort with ski lifts that transport skiers up the mountain. The snow is groomed, that means that some machines flat the snow at night.
FREESTYLE SKIING
• It’s a modality of ski that consists to jump and make figures in the air.
• It`s also dangerous because you can fall badly and damage yourself.
FREERIDE SKIING• Consists to ski in non indicated zones.• It’s the most dangerous kind of ski because
you are in risk of avalanches…• For freeride you need virgin snow, a type of
snow characterized that nobody stepped on before.
