difference between the two.

You will be doing a piece of imaginative writing soon and I have

realise that a lot of you may have forgotten some of the things you

need to put in to your descriptions.

Simile: A simile is a figurative language technique where a comparison

is made using like or as.

A simile is a figure of speech that makes a comparison showing similarities

between two different things

its ups and downs and can be scary and yet exciting. Much is conveyed in a few words.

This metaphor is comparing an exam to a walk in the park, implying to us that the exam was

easy.
