TRANSCRIPT
The Lord has blessed us at Silverdale Baptist Church, as we have had an amazing year.
At the beginning of this year, I shared how I felt God leading us to Multiply, little did I know all that God was going to do through our church. It’s humbling to know that we now have nine worship opportunities every weekend thanks to the launch of the North Ooltewah Campus and an additional service at St. Elmo. Also, we’ve had our greatest year of church growth, over 20% and, we see people every week profess their faith in Christ and record numbers followed Him in baptism. Lives are changing for eternity right before our eyes! Our next generation ministries, College & Young Adult Ministry, Adult Small Groups and Care Ministries continue to touch, grow and shape the lives of our church family. And through our mission eff orts, our church’s infl uence is reaching the ends of the earth. To God be the glory, great things He has done and is doing through Silverdale Baptist Church.
So much of what has been accomplished is because of your continued fi nancial giving. Every time you give, you are partnering in the eternal work of God’s kingdom through Silverdale. Thank you for faithfully trusting the Lord. We could not do all we do without your sacrifi cial giving.
As we move into 2018, the Lord has positioned us for even more exciting days. In January, I will be sharing our church’s 2020 Vision. In the next two years, we will intentionally reach into our community with a goal of seeing a true transformation in our city.
As Silverdale grows, so too must our budget. For 2018, we have increased our budget by 10.56% over last year. We believe that this increase will allow us to continue to meet the needs of our local body, eff ectively touch our community and continue to grow as the Lord allows. God has promised that as you give, “He will supply all your needs according to his riches in glory.” (Philippians 4:19) So, with great joy, the Ministerial Staff , Finance Team, and Personnel Team present the 2018 budget for your review and approval. Thank you for your commitment to give and work in God’s kingdom work at Silverdale Baptist Church.
Blessings,
Tony WalliserSenior Pastor
