The nomination form for all categories must be completed online; hand-written forms will not be accepted.1. The form and the attachments should be sent on CD DVD or any other electronic storing units. The personal data of the nominee should be written on them.
2. The number of pages of the form, the evidences and the attachments should not exceed 200 electronic pages, except the Excellent School Category; which should not exceed 500 electronic pages.
3. Attachments and supporting documents should be organized for the past three years and the first semester of the nomination year.
4. Attachments and supporting documents should be numbered and arranged in sequence; accordingly with the main and sub criteria of the Award.
5. The nominee should submit three electronic copies of the work.
6. The nominee should submit three hard copies of the original nomination form; certified and authenticated by the administration of the educational zone, with (3) personal photos having white background and a photocopy of the ID or the passport.
General Terms and Conditions:
1. All the educational institutions, staff and students in the educational field in the United Arab Emirates have the right to participate in Sharjah Award for Educational Excellence.
2. The applicant in the Award should undertake not to participate in any other award during the same year in the same category enrolled.
3. The nominee should not have been awarded the Sharjah Award for Educational Excellence at least three sessions prior to the year of nomination.
4. The nominee has the right to enter a personal interview or have a field visit if he/she got 80% or above in the first judging stage.
5. All attachments and supporting documents should be certified and authenticated by official authorities for the past three years and the first semester of the nomination year.
6. Participation in the Award should be through: the school / educational zones / educational offices of Abu Dhabi Educational Council.
7. Employees in the field of education who have experience not less than three years, connected with the year of nomination; have the right to take part in the Award.
8. A nominated application will be rejected if any of the evidences or documents proved to be fraud.
9. All the submitted works of the participant are considered the property of the Award.
10. The nominees in the educational field should achieve (excellent standing in 2 years) of the three required years and a degree 2.5 in the annual performance evaluation of the last academic year; connected with the nomination year.
11. A CV is required for all categories (except institutions).
Conditions of Private:
1. Students should be from grades 4 to 12 attending public or private schools in the United Arab Emirates.
2. Excellent academic standing by achieving 90% or above in each of the past three years and the first semester of the nomination year.
3. Attachments and supporting documents should be organized and numbered for the past three years and the first semester of the nomination year.
