Share the love for all the #MEAStarshelping others during Coronavirus crisis

The people of Mid and East Antrim are being invited to share the love andappreciation for all our key workers by giving a ‘big thumbs up’ on socialmedia.

Mayor, Cllr Maureen Morrow, said:

“Sometimes it’s only in the darkness that we see the stars so clearly.

“Here’s to the people working in every part of our society who are on thefront lines bringing some normality to us all.

“You are our stars in the darkness and I want us all to give you a big thumbsup!”

When you see a keyworker out on the frontlines working to bring a service tothe community, give them a big thumbs up and if it is safe to do so, take aselfie and share it with the Council’s social media channels, so we can spreadthe positivity.

Why not let your creativity flow and add some star creations to your rainbowwindow displays, doors, bins and driveways to encourage our keyworkers.

Mid and East Antrim Borough Council Chief Executive, Anne Donaghy, added:

“The response and encouragement from the public for our frontline stars is soappreciated and I look forward to seeing all your pictures in the days andweeks ahead.”
