A nozzle can only move a given amount of debris.

If you exceed the nozzle’s max amount, the pipe will not be cleaned or the nozzle can get stuck in the pipe

Using step cleaning methodology will allow you to better clean the pipe and reduce the chance of getting the nozzle stuck

We can calculate steps required for you customers applications.

STEP CLEANING METHODOLOGY:

Friction generates heat, and pressure drop is energy lost to heat. In any �uid system, both friction, and heat, are generated because of liquid �owing through the hose. The faster liquid travels, the more heat is generated.

Pressure drop is the difference in pressure between any two points in a system. (This data indicates the pressure at opposite ends of a sewer hose.)

PRESSURE DROP:

A nozzle creates air�ow as it cleans the line. Combine that with too much material behind the nozzle or a low spot or belly in the pipe, and it will stop the air �ow from venting back to the manhole. If it can’t vent at the manhole, it will vent through the lateral into the house connected to it. If the house vent is blocked or not up to code, it can cause the toilet to blow or burp.
