• Current Issues - Continued• 30 Verizon emergency cell phones deployed to

DEM/Human Service Branch for Disaster Recovery Relief Team efforts (no change).

• CISCO Communications team is on site at LSA-Orlando setting up communications command center system.

• UNISYS Communications team arrived to TLH this evening with mobile communications support. (Awaiting instructions from human resources)

• Current Issues• The Red Cross (ARC) has 15 Emergency Response

Vehicles (ERV'S). At least 10,000 hot meals were served by ARC today.

• The Salvation Army (TSA) has 5 Canteens working in the disaster area and have been handing out cleanup kits throughout the day. TSA served 1467 hot meals yesterday.

• The Seventh-day Adventists are operating a mobile kitchen in the disaster area and have served 2600+ hot meals today.

• Shelter database updated in real time @ Floridadisaster.org.

• Elder Affairs and Children & Families mobilizing staff to provide assistance as required.

ESF 6 – Mass Care

• Unmet Needs – None• Future Operations

• Shelter operations are presently winding down but there has been a sharp uptick in mass feeding activities. ESF 6 will continue to support these functions.

• Both ARC and TSA are distributing cleanup and comfort kits in the disaster area.

• ARC has 3 Emergency Aid Stations open at this time and anticipate that number to increase.

• Continue providing SERT with information on mass care activities.

• Elder Affairs continues to schedule conference calls with representatives in the disaster area to gather data. They have staffed the DRC's that have opened in the affected areas and are prepared to staff those DRCs that open in the future.
