Bad SMART Goals for social media:

Gain more followers for CraftBeerRandy

Good SMART Goal:

Attract 1000 followers who are interested in craft beer for @CraftBeerRandy on Instagram by posting about craft beer 2 times per week

(on the weekends when most people are drinking beer) by May 2016.

Good SMART Goal:

Specific People who are craft beer fans

Measurable 1000

Attainable Yes

Relevant Are posts about craft beer interesting to fans? Yes

Time-bound by May 2016

Now what?

Set more SMART Goals

Attract 500 followers who are interested in craft beer for @Beerboxes by Ivan by posting

photos of the boxes with and without beer 2 times per week (on the weekends)

before Father’s Day (June 16).
