Presenters: Stephanie Joyce, Marjory Ackerman, Joan Epstein and Alicia Chin-Gibbons

In preparation for the development of preschool sensory centers: Joan will give a presentation on the basics of sensory processing. Marjory and Stephanie will share their collaborative model developed to support children with sensory processing needs in the first grade classroom. Their successful collaboration will describe the creation of a classroom sensory center and curriculum utilized to support the sensory needs of first grade students. Preschool staff will begin problem solving how to develop this model appropriate for 3-5 year olds. Alicia will address the importance of collaboration.
