The new research shows that EQ may be crucial for business success. To cultivate our EQ, our effort should be aimed at improving four adaptive skills: raising consciousness; using imagery; considering and reconsidering events to choose the most creative response to them; and integrating the perspectives of others. As long as we keep at such effort, we can make it.
