Admission to ITE Nitec Courses
Aggregate points for Nitec courses is calculated based on the best 4 GCE 'N' Level subjects (including pre-requisites and bonus points). Selected courses will require applicants to attend an admission interview, medical examination or drawing test.
Some courses require Science or Mathematics in their minimum entry requirement.

ITE EARLY ADMISSIONS EXERCISE
The ITE Early Admissions Exercise (ITE EAE) is an aptitude-based admissions exercise for admission into ITE full-time Nitec courses based on course-specific aptitude and interest.
Secondary school students can apply for these courses and receive conditional offers prior to receiving their GCE ‘N’ results
The ITE EAE will replace the Special College Admissions Scheme (SCAS) and Special Admissions Exercise (SAE). Application under ITE EAE will commence in June/July 2017 for admission to courses for year 2018 intake.
ITE EARLY ADMISSIONS EXERCISE
Selection Criteria
• A write up on not more than 100 words on why they are interested in the course
• Portfolio of related projects
• Documentation of participation in relevant MOE Elective Modules
• Documentation of participation in work attachments, community volunteer work, school / personal activities / projects, CCAs and competition related to ITE cources.
*Successful applicants will have to meet the Minimum Entry Requirements for the courses they apply for
