Introduction

The Sebata V6 HR and Payroll module’s purpose is to assist Local Government toto effectively manage employee information.

Sebata EMS V6 integrate all modules to provides the municipalities with onecomplete system. The module does this by supporting business processes,information flow and reporting for Local Government.

• Sebata EMS is built with a constant set-up which gives user an opportunity to configurethe settings to best suit each municipality.

• HR and Payroll settings are managed through this main settings on the Primary Navigation Bar

• To access the HR and Payroll module – select the Payroll from the Primary Navigation Bar.

• Once the user has selected the Payroll, a grid with all HR and Payroll functionality willappear which will the user navigate through what the user want.

• Employee tab on the Payroll primary navigation bar, contains employees details and this tab also allows the user to view and amend each employee’s details according.

• Payroll tab on Payroll Primary Navigation has a drop down bar which gives the useroptions to view employee payslips and transact and all also an option of payroll run.

• To access payslips the user needs to navigate to HR and Payroll Module and Selectpayroll from the primary navigation bar.

• Under payroll the user must then select payslips which will display on a drop down grid.

• Furthermore on payslips, the Sebata EMS allows for the user to add any form of earningsand deductions, company contribution and fringe benefits through the add tab

• To access payroll run the user needs to navigate to HR and Payroll Module and Selectpayroll from the primary navigation bar.

• Under payroll the user must then select payroll which will display a drop down grid that include payroll run

• Once payroll is selected on the primary navigation bar the user will be able to navigate topayroll run, which will require the user to select the cycle which they are doing the run for and the date which the run is made.

• When the payroll run has completed running successfully, the bottom grid will show thepayroll run summary.

• Sebata EMS is also built with an intelligence which allows the user to extract reportsstraight from the system.

• To access the reports the user will navigate to reports on payroll primary navigation barthen select reports.

• It is important that the user allows pop-ups from the google chrome in order to see the report which was built, because if the pop-ups are not allowed the user won’t be able toview the report.
