Private CloudAnalysts define Private Cloud as a style of computing in which scalable and elastic IT-enabled capabilities are delivered as a service to internal customers using Internet technologies. Organizations moving towards Private Cloud are defined by a number of technological and business characteristics.

Community CloudA Community Cloud is a multi-tenant cloud, but whose constituency is limited to a specific community. In this sense the cost is shared across a larger constituent base providing cost savings by sharing assets while a framework for information sharing and collaboration is created.
