Food waste!? I am the pinnacle of sustainability!

Food waste has environmental and economic implications.

Food waste generates methane in landfills.

Food waste means lost profits and wasted food dollars.

We need a plan for monitoring and evaluating, a budget, and an implementation plan.

Monitor for mid-course corrections.

Evaluation: What happened here?

Evaluation Plan:The Five Questions

Question 1:Why?

Question 2:What are we measuring to

indicate success?

Question 3:What tools will we use to measure outcomes?

Question 4:When will these

measurements be taken?

Question 5: How much will this cost?

The Budget: Costs for Monitoring, Evaluation, and Implementation

The Budget: Costs overruns?

The Budget: Identify funding paths

Implementation: All hands on deck

Does oddly shaped food contribute to food waste?

Where we are, where we’ve been, where we are going, how we’ll get there.

thank you
