Scan to EMAIL

1. Place document in the copy glass or the automatic feed.

2. Select FAX/SCAN – If there is a swipe verification scan use a PID or LID card to log in first.

3. Provide an Email Address. Here there are two options; DIRECT INPUT the email address or ADDRESS

SEARCH. With DIRECT INPUT the entire email address needs to be entered. With ADDRESS SEARCH the

address can be found by searching for the person’s last name and/or first name. Only campus emails will

show up with the search function.

4. ADDRESS SEARCH, select SEARCH.

5. Type last name and hit START SEARCH.

6. Select the correct email address and hit OK on the screen.

7. If a different file format or name needs to be added to the file being emailed, select Scan Settings.

8. Here selections for file type, color, double sided scan, and document name can be changed.

9. The Start button will turn blue when the email has been selected. Hit START to send the email.

10. The email will look something like this. It will tell you what printer it came from and it does convert

the scan to a PDF file.
