Working with the CLC, 18 SCAD students partnered with FOX Sports to design and
produce the title graphics for Super Bowl XLVIII, the largest and most-watched
sporting event in the U.S. They developed three design concepts that brought the
story of Cleatus, the network’s robotic football mascot, to life. The final animation
was a half-minute slot seen by more than 111.5 million viewers.

SAVANNAH FILM FESTIVALEach fall, SCAD presents the Savannah Film Festival, a weeklong
cinematic celebration showcasing films by Hollywood heavyweights
and emerging talents. Attracting more than 50,000 attendees
annually, the Savannah Film Festival is the largest university film
event in the nation and hosts a variety of competition film and
special screenings, workshops, panels and lectures. Throughout
the event, acclaimed guests — a star-studded mix of award-winning
filmmakers and showbiz moguls — connect with students and
festivalgoers to share insights on the art and business of film.
Thanks to a partnership between RealD Inc. and the Savannah Film Festival, SCAD is the only university with dedicated, on-site technology available for 3-D filmmaking.
