Modes of Operation

Spring to Close Type- Uses powerful spring(s) to close against system pressure- Uses combination of air pressure and system pressure to open

Practical Thinking

100% ∆P applications include use point, sampling, drain, recirculating loop and most batch type process applications

0% ∆P applications create dead legs – stagnant fluid in piping and is not a common or acceptable condition in Life Science applications
