1 System diagram and overview
The below diagram describes the SafeDispatch system deployment layout using one Server computer and two client computers, connected via IP to a Motorola Repeater.

2 Installing the TRBO REPEATER Gateway
From the installation wizard select from the gateway type dropdown "TRBO_REPEATER"

During the installation, a driver window will prompt for confirmation, this is the driver for the USB 3000 voice decoder device.

3 Motorola CPS – Repeater configuration
Make sure you have the latest Motorola CPS release installed. Open Motorola CPS
o Enter Expert view: from View menu and Click “Expert”

Read the Motorola Master Repeater by clicking the “Read” button
First ensure the repeater has the required licenses activated o Network Application Interface Voice (optional, required for Call Recordings) o Network Application Interface Data (required for GPS and SMS)

NOTE: Ensure each Repeater in your radio network has a unique radio ID.
Setup the repeater in Master configuration mode from Link Establishment menu o This will allow the assignment of Static IP address
Setup your Master Repeater with a Static IP address on your local network o From Network menu deselect “DHCP” o Enter a Static IP address (ensure it is not used by other devices on the LAN)

NOTE: The system will only connect to a Master Repeater (ensure your repeater is in Master configuration, from the Link Establishment menu).

4 MNIS and DDMS Motorola Software
To run this gateway you must install and configure the MNIS and DDMS Motorola software No changes are required in DDMS Software if it runs on the same PC with MNIS All repeaters require MNIS Data for the GPS traffic If voice recordings are used then MNIS Voice license is also required For voice recordings a USB 3000 decoder device is required
4.1 MNIS General Settings
Configure the MNIS Application ID in the MNIS Software, this ID must be unique in the Radio Network and represents the Radio ID where the subscriber radios will send ARS and GPS data

Configure the Master Repeater IP Address Configure the Master Repeater UDP Port Enable the in use Time Slots

5 Register the gateway application
Open the SafeMobile Administrative Module and select the Gateway tab

Under the Add new Gateway column: o Enter the IP address of the computer running the TRBO REPEATER gateway application o Enter the Peer ID, this must be a unique id in your radio system
Under the Add new Radio Gateway column: o Enter the Master Repeater IP address, also defined in MNIS Software

6 Gateway User Interface
The Repeater gateway has additional settings that must match the MNIS and Repeater configuration

Master Repeater Port is default 50000, this value must match the Repeater and MNIS port number configuration if changed
Network Type must match your Radio Network Type. The default value is Single (Conventional) / IP Site Connect
