What is the path to wellness? Is it education? Lifestyle? Career? For Sabra, it was equal parts passion, diligence, hustle and opportunity that conspired
to make her a wellness expert.
Rooted in wellness Sabra Seligman, is a wellness brand developer, holistic nutritionist and
plant-based chef, a certified natural health care practitioner and integrative well-being coach. An
educator at heart, Sabra’s projects take clients through and insightful journey of self discovery,
holistic living, self-care and motivation. On a mission to guide change, she takes an experience
approach to her various initiatives, including brand development, community workshops, retreats
and online projects. As a leader and speaker she captivates others with her passion to create long
term healthcare and balance with lifelong wellness tips.
Seligman showed an affinity for preventative medicine from a young age. “I was really intrigued by
alternative medicine and holistic practices and how these two could heal and cure the body,” says
Seligman, who went on to earn a degree in nutrition from Seneca College in Toronto. She advanced
her studies with a natural healthcare practitioner certification from Transformational Arts College—
honing the practices of aromatherapy, meditation, reiki, chakras and others—and a degree in interna-
tional spa management from Elmcrest College of Applied Health Sciences and Spa Management.

Enlightened and impassioned, Seligman left
Canada and began her professional career at a medical
spa in Los Angeles, California. A string of wellness
projects would then take her to Mexico, Israel and
Spain over the course of 10 years. “ My biggest passion is travel and educating others toward their own selfhealing and selfcare,”
she says, referencing her time developing spas in
Cancun and working at Carmel Forest Spa and Resort,
a top wellness property in northern Israel, where she
also studied Hebrew.
From Israel, Spanish luxury chain, Hospes Hotel,
tasked Seligman with developing its entire wellness
and spa offering. In this position as Corporate Spa and
Wellness Director, she oversaw nine boutique hotels
across Spain, including properties on the posh Balearic
Island of Mallorca. Her success at Hospes caught the
attention of renowned Starwood Hotels and Resorts
Worldwide, who hired Seligman as Director of Spa and
wellness for the iconic W Barcelona. Her chief duty:
introducing W Hotels’ renowned wellness brand Bliss

staff to developing menus, Seligman’s expertise has
touched every aspect of the wellness experience for
major corporations across the world.
“ Holistic healthcare is not a fad, it’s my mission,” she says, sharing the impetus for her
next undertaking: nutrition. Seligman moved to Miami
in 2012 (“I’ve lived in nine countries and still count-
ing—I’m not sure I could ever stop!”) to launch award-
winning Manna Life Food, a plant-based cafe in the
heart of Downtown Miami.
Manifesting her wellness journey through food was
a natural progression for the trained raw/vegan
chef, who studied under the tutelage of vegan chef
Mark Reinfeld, founder of the veganfusion academy.
“For 18 years, I’ve dedicated my career to wellness and holistic health and now my focus is on plant-based nutrition”we all eat five or six times a day, she says. “It’s
important that we understand what we put in our
bodies.” Since opening Manna Life Food in spring of
2016, Seligman’s focus on plant based nutrition has
intensified and expanded to include coaching, seminars
and personal coaching. Today, she’s an author (her
e-book Veg Curious? A Guide to Clean Eating and Transi-
tioning to plant-based foods will be released in the fall of
2018), an entrepreneur and a bona fide wellness expert,
who shares her experiences with the goal of educating
and empowering others on their own wellness journeys.
