PAID SUMMER INTERNSHIP

For Women Interested in Careers in the Transportation Industry

The U.S. Department of Transportation is offering a summer internship for a female college student inter-

ested in careers in the transportation industry. USDOT will work with the candidate to place her with an

appropriate agency, project, institution, contractor or association within Colorado.

To Qualify- Candidate must be female;

- College student enrolled during the January 2015 academic semester and returning in the fall of 2015;

- Have a cumulative GPA of 2.8.

The InternshipStart Date: June 1

Duration: 8 weeks/320 hours (July 24)

The start date and end date are tentative and can be adjusted. However, the intern must

complete 320 hours of work.

COMPENSATION: $2,500 made in four payments, one for every 80 hours worked.
