PROJECT DONE BY ROTARY CLUB BARSHI

1ST JULY

We have tradition to start year with gopujan(worship of cow). We go to gorekshan mandal (social organization protecting cow)worship cow,

feed them & donate some amount for welfare of cow. This year almost 42 Rotarian present for this occasion. We donated almost 11

thousand rupees to organization.

On same day we have arranged blood donation camp at Rambhai Shah Blood Bank. To encourage blood donation among common public we have given gift to each blood donor.We have also arranged lucky draw for blood donor.311 bottle blood was collected during this

camp.34 bottle blood was donated by rotary members.

Welcome board at 5 different places ,was fixed by Rtn.PP K.S.Punmiya at outskirt of Barshi.District leaders mention it as important public relation activity.

Against the global warming we have decided to plant 5000 trees this year. On 1st July we have planted 250 Trees at ITI college. Student & teacher assured us for growth of trees.

Deaf & dumb school at Barshi has strength of 150 students from poor family. We have arranged circus show forStudents. Our president mentions it as most rewarding activity. Joy on the face of student was unparallel.

On doctors day(1st July in INDIA)we have felisited 5 senior doctors in Barshi.We have given appreciation letter to all doctor in Barshi.

4th JULYInstallation ceremonyMost awaited programe for every club member. Big occasion for us to display past, present &Future project to society.This year more than 1100 people were present for programe.Our president & master of ceremony introduced about Rotary International, various RI programe like RYLA,matching grant & many more. We have pasted big hoardings(8 by 6 feet)aboutRI at venue.During this programe we have inaugurated our club web site by FOUNDER MEMBER RTN.PP DR ANNASAHEB KASHYPI . New 15 member added to our family.

5th JULYAt Punmiya charitable trust we have planted 25 trees.

18th JULYBLOOD donation camp at KHANDAVI ,37 people donated blood.

We have arranged conference for farmer on LOW COST FARMING. More than 480Farmer were present for conference.

20th JULY MATCHING GRANT PROJECT

We have started cataract surgery project. We have targeted at least 372 operation that is one operation every day.(up to day we have completed 231 operation)We are arranging camp every month according to availability of hospital.During 1st camp we have checked 201 patients. We have done operation on 44 patients.We are doing operation at H.V. DESAI HOSPITAL,PUNE or Rotary eye hospital OSMANABAD.

21st JULYBHAJAN DINDI SPARDHA(devotional song in holy march competition)We have arranged devotional song competition for school children. More than 6oo school children from nine school participated.
