General rights

The right to respect for individual human worth, dignity and privacy.

The equal right to health care, income maintenance, education, employment, housing, transport, legal

services, health, insurance and leisure.

The right to appropriate and comprehensive information, education and training about their health

problems and condition, its treatment and services available to meet their needs.

The right to timely and high quality treatment.

The right to interact with health care providers, particularly in decision making regarding treatment,

care and rehabilitation.
