landfill.
4. An average US household spends $44 on candy every Halloween.
5. In 2015, the total Halloween spending on candies is about 7 billion dollars!

Candy Wrapper Solutions We are going to share a couple of solutions with you that we have come up with so far. 1. Have a box labeled “Candy Wrappers”
In this box, your family can dispose their candy wrappers Every 2 or 3 months, you can send the candy wrappers to the terracycling company where they will be made into
usable things, for example, bags, bracelets, hairbands, etc. What is terracycling?
Terracycling is the art of recycling candy wrappers by turning them into interesting crafts, like bags, dresses, shoes, bracelets, hats, necklaces, and many more.
2. Shred candy wrappers to use as stuffing material Shred candy wrappers to stuff pillows, mattresses, or any other comfortable material. This method will save many birds (as their feathers are used for stuffing many of these items.
3. Make your own crafts
The instructions to make these are all over the internet.
4. A Candy Wrapper App
Find out what kind of craft you can make, how you can
make, etc.
Provide platform for all those interested in terracycling. Keep everyone inspired by letting them know an
individual’s contribution in specific number of recycled wrappers in a given month from its “Information” page.
