For Task 3, the test was about breakdown condition of various rod-plane air gaps (air gap; 10 mm, 20 mm, 30 mm, 40 mm, 50 mm, and 60 mm). As for the spark occurred upon breakdown condition, the relationship is the higher value of air gap of electrodes, the duration of spark would be for a long time (continuous breakdown). After conduct the test for breakdown condition for sphere – sphere air gap (Task 4), the result happens to have same relationship as well as in Task 3. The comparison between Task 3 and Task 4 is the voltage breakdown for Task 4 is higher compared to voltage breakdown in Task 3.
