Media Facts• Youth ages 8-18 spend an average of 7.5

hours with media each day– 4.5 hours watching TV– 2.5 hours listening to music– 1.5 hours on the computer– 1.25 hours playing video games

• Youth who spend more time with media have lower grades

• We see about 5,000 ads each day
