What is RWUR?
Began as a DE flex entry pilot program – fall 2008
Intended for highly motivated, self-disciplined students with good computer skills
8 week courses that start the first Monday of: February, March, April, October, November and December
Only select “core” curriculum course are offered

Same admissions requirements apply
No difference in cost of online courses or extra program requirements
Classes are completely online – no in person assignments, labs, or tests
Low cost or free e-textbooks – instructor’s option
Respondus Lockdown browser use – instructor’s option
RWUR Faculty
Faculty must be Certification in Instructional Technology (CIT) certified
Faculty must be experienced in DE
Assignment must be within course workload
Application process
Faculty respond to questions about teaching style, experiences and interest in teaching in this format
Supervisor recommends and approves application
Committee reviews application
