Sam and his brother, Jack, are Americans. Their father is a businessman. This year they are

living inTaichung . One day, they met their Chinese friend, Bob.

Bob: Chinese New Year holidays are coming. What are you going to do ?

Jack: I’m going to get up late and stay in bed all mornings.

Bob: I’m not going to spend my holidays in bed. My family’s going to visit my

grandma in Hualien.

Sam: Can I go with you ? I heard that Hualien is a beautiful place and I like to kno

about Chinese New Year.

Bob: Yes, sure. My grandma will be happy to have you with us.

Jack: Are you going to stay there all holidays?

Bob : We can stay with my grandma for two days or so. She’ll cook us delicious( 美味 的 ) food and give us presents. Then we can go on tour ( 觀光 ) there.

Jack: Can I go to Hualien with you, too ?

Sam: Aren’t you going to stay in bed all holidays?

Jack: No, I’m going to enjoy the holidays.
