3 Fixed 720p Megapixel IP Cameras provide a 180 degree continuous field of view. These cameras also create a virtual perimeter aroundthedevice.Asobjectsmovewithinareasof interest, thesystemwillrespondautomatically.Physicalsensorscanalsointerfacedirectlywith

thedevice,providingacompleteperimeterofprotection. As movement is detected from the 3 fixed cameras or externalsensors, I2C’s Software will optically “zoom” in on the action in real

time,usingabuilt-inPTZ(Pan,Tilt,Zoom)Camera.

A wireless 802.11 B/G/N (WiFi) Access Point is builtinto the unit. This allows handheld devices, laptops andmobile data terminals (MDT’s) to view live images from all 4on-boardcameras.Thisalsoallows foreasyaimingofthefixedpositioncamerasduring installation,aswellasreal timemovement control of thePTZcamera.Remotewirelessinput/outputmodulescanalsousetheWiFisignaltoconnectawidevarietyofswitchactivatedsensors.

A Cellular Data Router is built into the unit to allow remote access to the systemviatheInternet.TherouterwillallowanystandardUSBCellularDataModemtobeusedwiththesystem.Thisallowsanycellularcarriers

datacardtobeused.

I2C’sAdvancedVideoManagementSoftwareprovidestheultimatesolutionineventbasedvideoprocessing.Thesystemwillmonitoralimitlessnumberofinputsandwillallowtheusertoprioritizeresponses.Forexample,if movement is detected in two areas simultaneously, the system will direct the PTZ camera to the higher priorityarea.Archivedvideofilesarealsoretainedbyprioritysettings.Thisenablesvideofilesformorecriticalareastohavelongerretentionperiodsthanlesscriticalareas.ResponsestoeventsarenotjustasimplesinglemovementbythePTZcamera,rathertheycancontainasmanycommandsasrequired.Forexample,insteadofjustzoomingonalicenseplatewhenavehicleenters,thesystemwillalsozoomonthepassengerdoors,

andfinallylookattheoverallvehiclearea,allinresponsetoonevehicle’sentry.AlleventsaretheneasilyaccessedthroughI2C’sArchiveManagementSystem.Videoeventscan be located and downloaded in seconds, even over a

cellulardataconnection.
