Whose mandate is support local talent and shopping opportunities. !

And to host the fifth-annual Rage Against Beige show featuring

local artists.

This is Erica Neumann.

Her oil paintings come alive.

The eyes in her wildlife works stare back.

Janifer Calvez is also inspired by nature.

And colour.

Colour was the inspiration for Rage Against Beige.

Now it’s about artists getting out of their own ordinary.

A show to “keep us all fresh and honest,” says Cheryl.

Cheryl’s work is about sustainability.

“We can’t eat art.”

“But I’m trying to create art that makes us think

about how we live.”

Like endangered species.

And disappearing bees.

Because there are challenges ahead.

By 2073, 82,000 people will live in Okotoks.

Arts and culture will be a part of that growth.

It is an economic driver.

And inspires other new businesses.

So Rage Against Beige.
