User friendly with a familiar Windows/Microsoft format,TexturePro provides the widest test capability of anysoftware within the field of texture analysis. It harnessesthe power of Microsoft Excel to calculate a full range ofstandard texture parameters through menu-drivensoftware that eliminates complicated macros required bysome alternative systems. Users can easily incorporatecustomised formulae and analysis into the wealth ofstatistical and data analysis functions offered by Excel.Full Microsoft Office compatibility means that test reportsand graphs generated can be transferred into differentprogrammes via simple copy and paste functions.

Product evaluation data can be overlaid graphically toidentify trends between samples, and view criticalparameters. EXTRUSION CELLBack and forward extrusion tests are usedto determine the flow properties of viscousfluids such as yogurts, cosmetic creams,soft gels, sauces and lubricants.

OTTAWA CELLA square test cell and plunger extrudes thesample through a range of apertures. Usedto assess particulate products such asbreakfast cereals, loosefill polystyrene,beans and pulses.

GRIP ASSEMBLYMultipurpose tensile grips supplied in pairs.Single or double vice options are available.Used to test the break strength ofpackaging seals, chewing gum sticks andtextile fibres.

COMPRESSION PLATEA large top plate used for standardcompression tests on bakery goods andother structured products such aspackaging materials. Used in the calculationof stress relaxation and visco-elasticity.

FRICTION ASSEMBLYAn extension flatbed and pulley system enablesstatic and dynamic forces to be calculated.Used to evaluate packaging materials and thespreading characteristics of lubricants,pharmaceuticals and cosmetics.

We specialisein the development of novel and innovative test applications andaccessories for solid and semi-solid materials, enabling our customersto maximise the practical value of their texture studies within all testenvironments.

Utilising simple ‘Compression’ or ‘Tension’ forces, we are able toimitate almost all conditions imposed during the manufacture orhandling of a wide range of foods, industrial materials and personalcare products.
