The V3 Ring has the widest indications for use of any sectional matrix ring. The only nickel-titanium ring, the V3 ensures optimal separation forces to produce perfect, tight contacts and an anatomically correct Class II composite restoration.

2 Wave-Wedges in place to protect rubber dam during cavity prep.
3 Old restorations removed.
4 Cavity prep complete. At this stage Dr Smithson changes two of the pink wedges for larger, purple, wedges.
5 V3 Rings in place. Note the relative distance between the tines of the Narrow (yellow) premolar ring and the Universal (green) molar ring.
