New pipe and port• Given the final C-shape of the LAr
return pipe we have estimated that using the GAr purge pipe could be better to route the cables
• We have agreed with the camera people in exchanging ports 9.1 and 9.3

cable support: vertical pipes• A U-shaped support with 31 grooves
• Cable can be introduced laterally
• The idea is to use a loop to hold the cable such that the cable can be kept tight at room temperature and at the same time allow for shrinkage (< 2cm/m)

• Cable bundle with 24 cables from port 9.1 to first support at vertical pipe, from where cables are routed individually
• We probably need another support at a higher level to hold the cable bundle

bottom sensor/cable supports• We have put special care in guarantying that
the cable does not touch any metallic element to avoid grounding loops in the case the outer teflon jacket is broken

Cable lengths• Precision sensors (pipes):
• compute lengths based on 3D model with cable routing
• Add a bit of extra length ( 1m ?)
• Cut cables and make the cable-connector assembly in Valencia
• Standard sensors (floor): two options 1. Cut cables at CERN • Send 200 m of continues cable to CERN
• Sold sensor to the cable end (outside the cryostat), fully route the cable and cut it once outside the chimney
• Repeat the operation for the 12 sensors 2. Cut cables in Valencia based on 3D model with cable routing

time for calibration

Schedule• In principle installation foreseen for second week of November (6th)

• Floor sensors
• Precision sensors will be installed later when the false floor is removed • This gives us more time for calibration

Elements• Cable: available
• Split clamps for pipes: ready, including the new ones for gas pipe
• Cable supports: • horizontal pipes: ready
• vertical pipes: new prototype exists. Production next week
• Cable lengths: Pablo Leon is adding the cables and supports into the 3D model, lengths will be available next week
• Bolts: must be silver platted. We have identified a company that does it. To be done next week
• Small sensor supports and cable-connector assembly: final prototype ready tomorrow. Production next week
• Big sensor supports: depends on small support. Prototype and production next week (it is just an FR4 plate with few holes)
