Projekt edukacyjny zrealizowany pod patronatem National Geographic, „Moje miejsce na ziemi”

The Flower Calendar

It is founded in sixties and consists of about five thousand diffrent

flowers. The date is

changed every

morning between June and October.

The beachThis place

visited by all the people

from our city. This is the best place to stay.

In summer you can sunbathe, swim or jump into the water.

The photographers often visit the bridge. They take wedding

pictures.

Swamps in the forest

They are in the forest outside the city. This place is visited by forest animals. They drink water from it and cool down on hot summer days.

Lake Duszatyń

The name ,, Duszatyń ‘’ is very

little known, because most

people call it ,, Krawczyk ‘’. The

lake is deep in the forest away from

the street. It surrounded by trails for Nordic

Walking and cycling. There is a lot of

informations about animals living in the

forest.

Prusiec

There are two ways to get there in the direction of Kostrzyn.

Prusiec is small place where

you can relax. There is a sand like by the sea, forest, and on

the other side a small pond.

River Kosa

The river Kosa is the right tributary of Myśla. The

river flows from north to Dębno. There are a lot of beautiful, wild areas around the

river.

It is a place visited by

many people. It can lead to

a public library or primary

school. It is a great place for walking, rollerblading or cycling.

Meadows and the lonely tree

Thay are located next to the

forest at end of the town. There

is a very big area and animals

often visit them. Thanks to

meadows forest animals can survive the

winter and do not die of hunger.

Pond turtle

The pond turtle is the only type of turtle naturally living in Poland. Its shell grows up to 20 cm long and it weights maximally 1 kg.

Otters

Otters live in all Poland, but they aren’t common.

You can see them on the

coast of Myśla river. Otters

build dens along the banks of

rivers. They eat fish. And hunt at

night.

Nordic Walking Path

In Dębno there are several

paths for Nordic Walking.

However, the main of them is the path that leads to the

lake „Duszatyń”. It

starts from plots towards Kostrzyn, and ends at the

main entrance on „Krawczyk”.

The place is located about 3 km from Dębno.

Coming from Dębno to Kostrzyn you have to turn

right. You can also get there by bike

path. It is equipped with tables, a small playground for

children, a fireplace and a

beach with a pier.
